Exchange rates:: US ($) about 44 Peso, Euro (€) about 70 Peso, UK (£) about 88.5 Peso, and Australian ($) about 42 Peso (July 2008). You can check current exchange rates daily, but remember the value you get is the banks selling rate. When you change your currency you get the banks buying rate, which can be 1-2 Peso lower.

The Bar-Restaurant opens every morning at 06 o'clock. Closing time is flexible.

Relax by the scenery in our covered open-air restaurant in the middle of a tropical garden, where no walls surround you. The restaurant has been completely renovated. Now the whole seating area, all the way to the seawall, is covered and in shadow.

At high water ( high tide ) you can sometimes from the bar-restaurant see some fish swimming in the water close to the seawall.

You can sit at the Beach Resort Bar and enjoy a sea breeze at your back, while enjoying your favourite satellite channel with your afternoon "piña colada".

Local Beer:

World famous cold San Miguel, 2 bottles for about one US $, 3 bottles for about one €, or 4 bottles for about one £ only.

Local Spirits:

Tanduay Rum and Añejo Whiskey.

Imported:

Gin, whiskey and others

Soft drinks:

Coca Cola and others. Fresh or canned fruit juice

Snacks: Hamburgers, sandwiches, pancakes, Fish & Chips etc., 50 - 125 Peso.

Meals usually served at seaside or on your own veranda - À la carte and at occasions Chef's "smorgasbord" for your choice. Vegetarian choices are available.

Breakfast:

Continental, à la carte, and Pilipino breakfast; 65 - 125 Peso. Coffee, tea, soft drinks, or whatever you prefer.

Lunch:

International and Philippine dishes, including snacks

Dinner:

Dinner - À la carte: Meat, fish, chicken with rice or potatoes, fresh vegetables and home made bread; or "smorgasbord" buffet (see picture below). Also: pasta, pizza, lasagne, Indian curries, Chinese dishes. 80 - 160 Peso.

Fresh fruit in season: Avocado, Banana, Mango, Papaya.
Imported fruit available on request: apples, oranges, pineapple.

Our bar and restaurant has been completely renovated. The restaurant and bar area is now covered with a continuous roof giving an ample and comfortable shadow whole day. This new arrangement can seat about 40 eating people.

At Tongo Sail Inn beach bar and restaurant you meet other cruisers and boat owners, who have been back and forth all over South East Asia for years already.

Here you get advice and information of the kind that cannot be found even on the Internet. What's more, you get it straight from "the horse's mouth" and can ask for more details right away. You can even hear some really tall stories when these cruiser guys sit down in the evening with a few beers and spinning their yarn.

When you feel in need of some exercise, for instance you want to get real hungry before attacking our delicious lunch, the catamaran building boatyard is just a short walk away. There you can see how a cruising catamaran is built from scratch to finish.
